Poland in 5 days…
Day 1st
Your arrival at Warsaw airport or train station, where you are welcomed by our driver. Transfer to a centrally located hotel. Time to relax or your private walks in the Warsaw centre. An overnight stay at your hotel.
Day 2nd
Breakfast. Next, half-day guided tour of Warsaw including all of the most important places in Polish capital: the Old Town with the Royal Castle, The Royal Route and “Łazienki” – the Royal Park. You will see also places like the former Jewish ghetto, the Monument to the Warsaw Uprising of 1944. Later that afternoon transfer to the Warsaw station with our driver. Departure by express train to Krakow. During your three hour journey, you will be able to see a lot of different Polish landscapes. Your arrival in Krakow, where you will be welcomed by our driver, and transferred to a centrally located hotel. Time to relax. An overnight stay at a hotel.
Day 3th
Breakfast, guided tour of Krakow: the Main Market Square with famous St. Mary’s Basilica and historical trade pavilions of the Cloth Hall, the Royal Route, Wawel Hill with its impressive Royal Castle and Cathedral. Afternoon time for a gift shopping or another tour on your request:
– Wieliczka Royal Salt Mine – a visit to the famous Royal Salt Mine with a numerous underground chambers, chapels and salt sculptures (70 USD / person);
or
– Auschwitz – Birkenau State Museum in Oświęcim – the biggest German Nazi concentration camp from the II World War. (70 USD / person).
Optional dinner with live music at a regional restaurant in centre of Cracow (60 USD / person). Next, an overnight stay at a hotel.
Day 4th
Breakfast, and departure for one of two alternative, whole day tours to choose from the list:
– Częstochowa – the Black Madonna monastery – Poland’s spiritual heart and one of the most important pilgrimage centre in Europe,
or
– Zakopane – “the winter capital of Poland” and the Tatra mountains with breathtaking views, unique folk culture and dishes. Return drive to Cracow at evening time for an overnight stay at your hotel.
Day 5th
Breakfast and transfer to the Krakow airport or train station.
Optional return ride by express train to Warsaw + transfer in Warsaw to the airport, with extra fee 130 USD / person.
