Mrągowo – a town on Lake Czos on the Mrągowo Lake District in the vicinity of forests. A modern hotel and leisure centre, numerous campsites. The main places of interest are the Museum of the Polish Reformation and in the town hall from 1825 there is now the Regional Museum of the Mrągów Land. The protestant church dates back to c. 1750. A modern hotel complex. A town renowned for cultural events promoting the culture of the so called Kresy (the borderland of eastern pre-war Poland) and country music.
