Gorzów Wielkopolski is a city in northwestern Poland, on the Warta river, with 125 780 inhabitants (2005). Since 1999, it is one of the two capitals of Lubusz Voivodship (the other is Zielona Góra), previously capital of Gorzów Voivodship (1975-1998).
