Location:
City center, northern slope of Gubalowka, eastern slope of Koletniki.

Description:
1123 m above sea level is the most popular part of the Gubalowskie Range. The ridges that form it are of even height, however the highest part which insignificantly towers over the surrounding is Butorowy Wierch (1160 m. above sea level).
While being in Zakopane you should take a ride on a cable and ground railway on Gubalowka, from where you can admire the panorama of the Tatra Mountains and clearly visible, situated at the bottom Zakopane.
After a half-hour walk along the ridge of Gubalowka we reach Butorowy Wierch from which we can take a ride down on a double chair-lift back to Zakopane.
The ride on the chair-lift gives an unforgettable feeling, not only because of the beautifully visible panorama of the Tatra Mountains but also for the sake of peace and quiet.
Gubalówka is also a great area for hiking and bicycle trips in summer and skiing in winter.
