General Provisions
In order to protect the privacy rights of ExcitingPoland.com website users (hereinafter referred to as the Service) and to fulfill legal requirements, Almatur-Opole Sp. z o.o. with its registered office in Opole 45-058, ul. Ozimska 26/2 (hereinafter referred to as ALMATUR), publishes this document explaining how data provided by Service users (hereinafter referred to as Users) is collected, processed and secured.
ALMATUR processes personal data in accordance with applicable law, including Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 27 April 2016 (GDPR) and the Act of 18 July 2002 on Providing Services by Electronic Means.
Territorial Scope
This Privacy Policy has been prepared based on European Union and Polish law regulations.
For users from outside the European Union, data processing is carried out in accordance with generally applicable Polish law.
By using our service, the user accepts the processing of their personal data according to the terms specified in this Privacy Policy.
Data Collection and Processing
The controller of personal data provided by the User while using the Service is Almatur-Opole Sp. z o.o. with its registered office in Opole 45-058, ul. Ozimska 26/2.
ALMATUR provides its Users with the possibility to use its Service anonymously; however, to purchase services offered through the Service, it is necessary to provide certain personal data.
Additionally, ALMATUR stores information about Users’ interactions with the Service, content and services, including: information about the device and logging, system logs containing date, time of visit and IP number of the device from which the connection was made, as well as data on Service viewing statistics. These activities are aimed at improving the Service and adapting it to User needs.
Purposes and Legal Basis for Data Processing
User data is processed particularly for the following purposes:
- Providing offers and services to Users, including content tailored to their interests
- Conducting measurement and improving content and services
- Informing about ALMATUR content and services and content and services of other companies cooperating with ALMATUR
- Providing advertising space in the Services
- Conducting direct marketing
- Sending free newsletters with information about ALMATUR, if the User has previously consented to receive promotional correspondence
- Ensuring information processing security at ALMATUR
- Managing IT systems
- Pursuing claims
Data Sharing
ALMATUR, as a rule, does not share Users’ personal data with third parties, except for situations where ALMATUR has a legal basis to do so, as well as at the request of authorized entities, or when it is necessary to provide services offered by ALMATUR.
Access to User data may be obtained by entities whose services ALMATUR uses to provide services to Users (e.g., payment service providers, including ING Bank Śląski S.A. as the operator of the Imoje system). In such cases, ALMATUR has concluded appropriate agreements with these entities to protect Users’ data from unauthorized access.
Cookies Policy and Other Automatic Data Storage Mechanisms
The Service uses automatic data storage mechanisms (such as: cookies, Local Storage Object, e-Tag). These are used to better adapt the Service to User needs.
Cookies are files saved on the User’s end device, used to identify the User’s browser while using the Service. They provide the administrator with statistical information about User traffic, User activity, and how the Service is used. They allow for the adaptation of content and services to User preferences.
Most cookies are so-called session cookies, which are automatically deleted from the hard drive after the session ends (i.e., after logging out or closing the browser window). Some cookies allow for recognizing the User’s end device when revisiting the Service – they are not automatically deleted and are saved on the end device.
Users can disable cookie handling in their browser at any time; however, this may result in difficulties in using services provided through the Service.

Data Storage Period
ALMATUR stores Users’ personal data only for the time necessary to achieve the purposes for which the data was collected. After this time, the data is deleted or anonymized in such a way that it is impossible to identify the User.
Personal data may be stored longer if such obligation results from legal provisions or if it is necessary for defense or pursuit of claims by ALMATUR in relation to Users.
Profiling and Automated Decision-Making
As part of the Service, we may use profiling for marketing purposes. This means that through automatic data processing, we assess selected factors concerning natural persons to analyze their behavior or create future predictions. However, we do not make automated decisions concerning Users that would produce legal effects.
Transfer of Data to Third Countries
As a general rule, personal data is not transferred outside the European Economic Area (EEA). If such transfer occurs, it will only take place in situations where an adequate level of data protection is ensured, resulting from standard contractual clauses or other safeguards provided for by GDPR.

Your personal data may be transferred to the following categories of recipients:
- IT and hosting service providers
- Payment operators (including ING Bank Śląski S.A. as the operator of the Imoje system)
- Courier and transport companies fulfilling orders
- Accounting and legal service providers
- State authorities, when required by applicable law

You have the right to lodge a complaint with the supervisory authority responsible for personal data protection, which is the President of the Personal Data Protection Office.
Changes to the Privacy Policy
The administrator undertakes to maintain the current content of the privacy policy.
