- all about our history and heritage - Day 1st Your arrival in
Warsaw airport or train station, where you are welcomed by our driver. Transfer to a centrally located hotel. Time to relax. An overnight stay at your hotel.
Day 2nd Breakfast. Next, half-day guided tour of
Warsaw including all of the most important places in Polish capital: the Old Town with the Royal Castle, The Royal Route and “Łazienki” – the Royal Park. You will see also places like the former Jewish ghetto, the Monument to the Warsaw Uprising of 1944. Later that afternoon time to relax, private walks or gift shopping. Dinner at a restaurant and an optional Chopin music concert at evening time (USD 20/person). An overnight stay at a hotel.
Day 3rd Breakfast. Departure with our guide-driver to
Częstochowa. On your way you will visit Żelazowa Wola – the
Frederic Chopin’s birthplace. Your visit includes a visit in the Manor House – a Museum nowadays, surrounded by a beautiful garden. Next, departure to Częstochowa, where you come at afternoon. Check-in at your hotel, and next guided tour of
Black Madonna monastery - Poland’s spiritual capital, and one of the most important pilgrimage centre in Europe. At the evening you will be able to participate in Holly mass or at other celebrations. Dinner at a restaurant and an overnight at a hotel.
Day 4th Breakfast, and departure to the southern part of Poland – Tatra mountains and Poland’s winter capital – Zakopane. On your way break in Oświęcim to visit
Auschwitz-Birkenau State Museum - the largest German Nazi concentration camp from the II World War. Tour leaded by a local museum guide. Next, departure to Wadowice – a small city famous as a birthplace of Karol Wojtyla (
John Paul II). Short visit in the Museum – his family home, and the Basilica, where he was baptized. Later on that day you will come to
Zakopane, beautiful located in the Tatra mountains foothills. Check-in at your hotel, dinner at a restaurant. An overnight stay at your hotel.
Day 5th Breakfast, and
half-day city tour with our local guide. You will see the local trade market with hand-made products, next take a ride by a cable car to the Gubałówka top, from where you will see the magnificent panorama of Polish Tatra mountains. You will find also more about unique folk culture and Highlanders architectural style of that region. Afternoon time for private walks along famous Krupowki street. Later on that day optional visit to
Kościeliska Valley, with possible visit to Jaskinia Mroźna (Frosty Cave). Dinner at regional restaurant, with live Highlanders music. An overnight stay at a hotel.
Day 6th Breakfast and departure from Zakopane to Pieniny mountains, where you will participate in a
raft trip on Dunajec river, what is in fact a rather leisurely drift in large wooden punts. Anyway unique landscapes, contact with real nature makes that trip unforgettable. Next, after that 2 hour trip, departure to Krakow region. Afternoon visit to
Wieliczka Salt Mine famous for a numerous underground chambers, chapels and salt sculptures. That place is inscribed in UNESCO World Heritage List. Dinner and an overnight at a hotel in Krakow.
Day 7th Breakfast, and guided tour of
Cracow – Poland’s cultural capital: the Main Market Square with famous St. Mary’s Basilica and historical trade pavilions of the Cloth Hall, the Royal Route, Wawel Hill with its impressive, renaissance Royal Castle and Cathedral. Afternoon a walk round the
Old Jewish Quarter - Kazimierz, where Steven Spilberg came to shoot "Schindler’s List". Latter on that day a time for a gift shopping and private walks. Farewell dinner with live music at a regional restaurant in centre of Cracow. An overnight stay at a hotel.
Day 8th Breakfast. Transfer by our driver to the
Cracow airport for your return flight or return ride to Warsaw with our guide-driver. You come to Warsaw at an early afternoon time. Transfer to the
Warsaw airport or one extra overnight at a hotel.
