The 35th anniversary of first Polish property inscribed on the World Heritage List
2012 was a very special year for UNESCO. Over 35 years ago UNESCO published the first list of properites known now as the "World Heritage List". Among these first 12 properties described on this list in 1978, two of them are situated in Poland.
Nowadays The Krakow Historic Centre and Wieliczka Salt Mine, as they were 30 years ago, are the most popular destinations for tourists' visits in Poland. So far there are 13 properties in Poland now on this list and four more are on the Tentative List. Take the opportunity to visit all of them during two special Almatur-UNESCO tours and get a very special Almatur "UNESCO Tour" certificate.
