"We wanted to thank you for your excellent service. Initially I sent you an email inquiring about your services, then I asked you to give me a number of different quotes, then we made the financial arrangements through the internet. Throughout this process you were completely professional and helpful.
When we were delayed in Krakow, you phoned the hotel personally to make sure all was well. Then you continued to send follow up emails.
All of our accomadations were superb, nice clean rooms, good meals. All the tours were excellent, beyond my expectations. The taxis, buses, tours, and trains were all on time.
You managed to provide all of these services at a very reasonable price. I don't think we could possibly be more happy with our vacation, and you were a very big reason why it was a success.
I would be happy to provide you with an excellent reference if you ever have any clients who request one.
Thanks again for your excellent service..."

"Dear Mr. Bartecki,
We just returned from our wonderful tour in Poland. Thank you for making all those great arrangements. We had a fantastic time. Zygmunt was a GREAT guide. He was kind and helpful in every way. We enjoyed our time with Ewa also. She is VERY knowledgeable in Polish history. We learned a lot from her. I would be glad to write a review for your company."
I returned home from Poland to find my computer completely not working, and after buying a new one and transferring everything to it, am finally catching up with all my correspondence.
We loved the trip to Poland. It provided us with everything we hoped for. The guides especially were wonderful. Our guides in Wroclaw and area were so very knowlegeable. Mr Robert in Krakow was so excited about his city that he made us excited to see it too. Mr Zygmunt in Warsaw was also wonderful. He brought the kids lapel pins and bird seed to feed the birds at Lazenki park. He did a very good job of straightening out the miscommunication about dinner as well. Our absolute favourite guide was our driver, Mr. Jan. He was outstanding in getting us places and helping out if there were any problems. He was always prepared and very accomodating if we wanted to spend a bit more time here or there. I would highly recommend any of these people."
Barbara from Florida, USA
I am sorry for late reply.
I think guide and driver did there best. I am satisfied. my group enjoyd tour to Poland!
Thank you so much for your kindness help.
We just returned from our “Poland in One Week” tour and I wanted to say thank you very much for making our vacation a wonderful experience. You and your company handled everything with such professionalism and thoroughness that the entire experience was one of the best vacations we have ever had. The accommodations at the MDM in Warsaw and the Hotel Polski in Cracow were the best. Additionally, all of our transfers were there on time and very helpful. The tours that you arranged for us were terrific and we really enjoyed the wonderful places we saw. You even arranged the best weather we could possibly ask for!
Poland is a beautiful country and the people were warm, helpful and generous. We are telling all of our friends and families that they should include Poland on their list of vacation destinations. We are also going to tell everyone we know that excitingpoland.com/Almatur is the best agency to arrange their travel. Again, thank you very much for all of your efforts in making this a memorable holiday.

Dear Mr Bartecki,
Thanks very much for your help with my trip to Poland.
We are now on the train from Krakow to Warsaw and Karina is on the plane to London, having completed the tour of Krakow you arranged for us. Carmel, Karina and I would like to thank you for your excellent service in arranging the bookings, hotel, tickets and the tours. Everything contributed to a very pleasant visit to Krakow. Many thanks especially for fixing the problem we had yesterday with the closure of the Wieliczka Salt Mine and the cancellation of the afternoon tour. We had a great tour of the mine in the morning and Robert looked after us very well in the afternoon with an excellent tour of the city. Could you please pass on our thanks to him?
Again, many thanks from us,
Peter, Carmel and Karina M.
Just to let you know that we have received all the documents for our trip including the train tickets which arrived today. Everything looks good and complete. Thank you so much for your help and your efficiency.
I do not know if we will see you while we are in Poland, so wanted to thank you now. We are looking forward to all these experiences.
We had a lovely time in Poland. Thank you very much for the arrangements you made for us. We particularly appreciated the assistance for finding our seats on the train from Warsaw to Krakow.
I want to let you know that my cousin Bob and I had a fabulous trip to Poland. Our guides, Zygmant and Monika were outstanding. They provided insight into Polish history, made sure everything was seamless. We had a special treat in Czestochowa, with a private tour with a Sister Terese. All of the transportation was outstanding, meals out of this world (we learned to eat soup with every meal, YUM). Our accommodations were good. No complaints. Every city was exciting and unique and the guides we had in the city were also outstanding. Very knowledgeable. We were exhausted every night yet eager to begin again. It was a truly memorable trip and we hope to return again. Exciting Poland is an outstanding company and i will definitely use you again. We never had to worry about anything for two weeks. Every detail was attended to. I am recommending you to people who wish to visit Poland.
I do have a few recommendations. Our accommodations was great. One comment was to locate these hotels closer to town if possible. In Gdnask and Wroclaw, we were located away from the city. We at early dinners, so when we returned to the hotel it was challenging to find some place to relax and have a beer. In Gdansk, we did find a local shopping area so not too big of a deal. Wroclaw, we were able to pick up a few items before we left the city center. For those less adventurous, it can be difficult. In the other cities, we enjoyed walking into the city center and have an ice cream or beer and walk people. Polish cities are wonderful so we enjoyed being part of them. In Lodz, our hotel was on the edge of a questionable area yet we still went out to the Manufaktura in the evening. The museum of musical instruments in :Poznan could have been deleted in favor of a few hours to shop. that day was rushed.
Putting all this in perspective, we choose a jam packed trip so we are not complaining. Next time most time to relax and shop!
Thank you again. I hope to be in touch in a few years for my next trip to Poland
I just want to let you know that we enjoyed the trip and everything went well. Loved Poland & Zygmunt was a wonderful guide. Thank you, Jayne
Just wanted to thank you for setting up our tour of Northern Poland. It was very interesting and we really enjoyed it. Our guide Zygmunt was great and we had lots of fun. The weather cooperated for most of the tour which was a real bonus. The local tour guides were very well informed and interesting and the fabulous dinners we had with Zygmunt were the highlight at the end of each day. Thanks again.
Dear Mr. Bartecki,
Poland was wonderful. Our tour was excellent - every stop, every Church, every restraunt! Jacob was terrific. My pilgrims had only great things to say. The locations you selected for Mass were very meaningful and beautiful. I learned so much and have a great appreciation for Poland and Polish history.
Our trip back to Germany was uneventful, which is great.
We really can not say enough good things about our trip. You did a great job with hotels - very clean and safe and good food. Jacob was essential. We loved his information, his knowledge, his helpfulness and his translating.
We will highly recommend your company to others wanting to take a Pilgrimage in and around Krakow.
Thanks so much,
What a wonderful trip we had. Everything was perfect and everybody had a great time. Nobody even got a blister on their foot this year! Thank you for all of your help and recommendations. The private bus was definately the way to travel and our Ukrainian driver who took us over the Hungarian border was especially nice to travel with. Igor, our English-speaking guide was terrific and we would be happy to work with him again in the future. Also looking forward to buying his book about L'viv. The Hotel Natalia continues to be a charming and comfortable hotel and it was nice to remember some familiar faces from last year.
Hungary is a lovely country. Budapest is the prettiest city I've ever seen. Eger was wonderful, the fortress is unbelievably beautiful and interesting and Ida, our guide was charming, energetic, friendly, and very proud of her city. If I had to complain about anything, it was our first night at the Hotel Flora, there was a very loud wedding party until 4 am, about which I complained at 3:30 am. We were placed in 4 rooms right outside the banquet hall and my point was that these rooms should have been given to the wedding guests, not us. Anyway, when we returned to our rooms later in the day, all four rooms had a lovely assortment of fruit and a large bottle of water which was very nice and more than made peace. We appreciated the gesture. You had told us that Eger is described as "little Krakow", and we can understand why. I've got to say that Krakow stays special in our hearts and Chris and I both want to travel there again some day.
Budapest was fantastic and the full day trip you arranged to the Danube Bend was great. How beautiful. The meal and folk show one night was fun and delicious. We have pictures of Chris dancing on stage with a folk dancer.! Everyone loved the boat trip to Vienna, great experience. We loved Hotel Kartnerhoff in Vienna. It was small, the rooms are charming, the staff is very helpful and friendly. We were greeted and helped by John before we even stepped inside. The morning we left, we were scheduled to leave before breakfast started at 7am, so they opened especially for us at 6am. That was above and beyond expectations. It is also centrally located and easy for tourist to see some of the gorgeous old architecture.
I almost forgot to tell you that our stay at Hotel Uzgorod was also excellent. It's a beautiful hotel, the rooms are very nice. We had the best breakfasts here and there was a piano player playing classical music every morning.
The trip was more than we expected and we appreciate all of your efforts on our behalf. We hope to travel in this part of the world in the future, although not next year as our daughter comes home to Chicago in October. She will always have friends in Ukraine, and when we are ready to visit again, we will certainly be in touch with you. Thank you again Grzegorz, all the best to you.
Nancy and Chris H.
We had a wonderful time. Our guide, Grzegorz, was terrific as was our driver Josef. We also thought all the individual guides in the various cities were very well-prepared and informative. Our accomodations were all quite good. We particularly liked the Hotel Polski in Krakow. Our train tickets were exactly right, even though the train trip was quite slow. (That's not your fault, however!) We never had to wait for any of the planned programs. The bus seats were a little cramped for some of our members. We would have liked a little more leg room. All in all, it was very well planned and was a fantastic trip!
We wanted to let you know that we had a wonderful four polish capital tours. It met all our expectations, and was extremely helpful. Zygmunt was a great guide-driver. His attention to our every need and his enjoyable company was one of the highlights of the trip. His careful driving along with his knowledge of Poland and setting us up with local guides made for a very informative trip. We have recommended to many people that this is the way to travel and would be a wonderful way to get to know Poland.
Stan and Betty Menking"
I wanted to take a moment to thank you and your staff for our wonderful trip. All of our day trips were excellent. Our guides were extremely knowledgeable and our transport was always on time and reliable. It was a very good trip and we saw everything we wanted to see. We do look forward to our next trip to Poland -- maybe a little bit slower and more relaxing at one of your spas. This trip was quick and very busy -- Krakow was just wonderful. Thank you for all of your assistance and I look forward to working with you again.

Our impressions of Poland are that it is a really amazing place to visit. On top of that, despite that most of Europe has Summer holidays in July, it wasn’t too overcrowded. For older people huge crushes where you can hardly see or move are quite off putting. In more detail let me break it into sections:
Exciting Poland Tours: We were very impressed with the way you made all our arrangements. Despite the original tour group not being able to proceed, all of our expectations were met and exceeded. We were met as arranged in every city, all arrangements were flawless, and our accommodation everywhere was as arranged, several even upgraded at no extra cost.
Tours across Poland: All tours were just great. Every tour that your company arranged was informative and varied. Where we had a guide to ourselves it was a new and rewarding experience but even the group tours out of Krakow were broken down into smaller groups so that one could hear and enjoy learning about your amazing country.
Poland itself: We would recommend a trip to Poland to anyone who might be even vaguely interested. Poland’s history is as complex and amazing as any other country in Europe. It is an undiscovered gem in Europe and on top of that whilst most tour operators in Australia have little or nothing organised for Poland, Exciting Poland Tours via your website should be widely recommended as a new opportunity for Australian travellers.
P.S. The food was great everywhere we went and much cheaper than in Australia.
It is my intention to put these remarks on the Australian Smart Traveller website and please feel free to use them in your company tour promotions as well.
Yours very sincerely,
Pamela and Johann Boeres.
Doreen and I enjoyed our tour of Poland very much. We were so impressed by the beauty of your country and the kindness of your people. Zigmund was very kind and thoughtful, and all of the guides were very knowledgeable and entertaining. We did find that some of the daily tours were lengthy, and we would have enjoyed a bit more free time. The day where we toured Krakow and the Wieliczka salt mine was particularly tiring. However, all in all,it was a wonderful and informative trip.
I really appreciated the opportunity to visit Koscielec. Although the church was locked and the priest was not available, it was very nice to see where I believe at least some events in my family's history took place. Hopefully, the documents you are sending me will make things somewhat more clear. (...)
Thank you once again for your assistance.
"Hello again Grzegorz,
I just thought I would let you know that I have just recommended your service to the Society of German Genealogy in Eastern Europe a North American based organization with branches all over the world.
Chris Weicht, USA"
I wanted to write you a detailed thank you for your work in planning my family's trip to Poland (and Prague). However, I have not done so, yet. So I want to send a short thank you to you,.
Thank you so much for setting up our vacation in Poland and Prague. You were so very helpful. All the tour guides were excellent. Your being able to find apartments for us was much appreciated. Your being available to solve problems during the week we were in Poland was very much appreciated. All the transportation worked perfectly, both the trains and the taxi drivers. Everything was great.
I would like to write a little more formal recommendation for you and your company. Is there a web site where I can enter this information, or should I just send you a recommendation that you can reprint as you see fit?
Also, I had written to two of the people that you suggested when I had asked for personal recommendations for your service. I received the nicest emails from both of them, and they recommended your service highly.
Thank you much for your help. When the time comes, please allow me to write a positive testimonial for your website.
I'm sorry we haven't responded sooner, but Jean and I had some things to do after we returned, and we wanted to give some thought to our comments before we wrote to you.
The bottom line is that we really enjoyed our time in Poland. Grzegorz is an excellent guide. He worked very hard for us. I know our schedule was very demanding for him, but he handled it with a pleasant response and gave us proper timing for the events as well as breaks, etc.
Your suggestions and plans were just what we were looking for! We have several thoughts that would have made our visit a little better, but they are not major and any negatives were our fault, not yours.
1) Given the heat, we probably should have gone with your recommendations for hotels (4-star). The hotels we were in were fine, but spending a few more dollars would have perhaps given us a little more comfort. The restaurants that you chose throughout were excellent, especially the Jewish restaurant in the Kazimierz district of Krakow.
2) The visit to Ostrogski Palace was of great interest to me but perhaps not so for the others. I should have asked you to skip that and scheduled more general time with our local guide that day. The visit to the Palace of Culture was fun and walking around Warsaw was interesting. The visits to the Royal Castle and Old Town plus the Jewish cemetery and ghetto sites and the Lazienki Park tour and concert were great.
3) The visits to Czestochowa, Ogrodzieniec Castle and Wadowice were fine.
4) The time in Zakopane was well planned. All of the activities were great. We especially enjoyed the Jaszczurowka Chapel, the Debno Church and the float trip on the Dunajec River.
5) Krakow was great. I won't list everything, but all the things we did were excellent. We wouldn't have changed anything.
6) Our visit to Auschwitz-Birkenau was excellent. The six-hour study tour led by Greg's wife, Anna, was very meaningful and rewarding.
7) The visit to Lodz was very good. But rather than going to Lowicz, we could have spent the later afternoon at Zelazowa Wola, instead, and perhaps gone on to Torun. I realize the stop at Lowicz was our suggestion, not yours.
8) Torun was outstanding. Our local guide was excellent. We could have spent more time there, or gone earlier to Gdansk to have more time there.
9) Gdansk was a real highlight. The local guide was excellent. Everything we visited in the Gdansk area was great. We would not have changed anything.
10) The following day was great. The visit to Stutthof was excellent; the local guide was excellent. He really gave the visit real meaning. Malbork and Wolf's Lair were excellent. The hotel Ksiezycowy Dworek was not as nice as the others, but we realize that perhaps there are not many hotel choices in that area.
11) The drive to Vilnius was fine. We arrived in plenty of time to meet our tour.
I hope this gives you a good idea of our thoughts. Overall, we are very pleased with your arrangements. If you have any questions, feel free to write us. I am attaching two photos for your enjoyment. One is a hostel sign in Krakow, and the other is of our rafting trip. If you would like any more of any of the sites, I can send them to you.
Just a short note to thank you for the lovely services you rendered us.
Both our Guides Mr Zygmunt and Mr Grzeogory were well knowledgable
and made our trip very memorable comfortable and enjoyable.
I must tell you that both me and my husband loved Poland very much
the people, the food the architecture everything was good.
Back home in India, I have been telling my friends, if you want to visit Poland
just email Mr Bartecki, and leave it on him for a wonderful holiday.
Wishing you all the very Best.
With kind Regards,
