Szczecin – both a port city and a health resort – located right next to the border with Germany – partly near the Uznam Island and the Wolin Island. The recreation park was founded in the mid-19th century. The Wolin National Park covers only about one fifth of the islands total territory and stretchesfrom the cliff coast nearby Międzyzdroje, as far as the Bay of Szczecin. Many hiking trails run across the moraine landscape dominated by beech forests. A bison reserve is a particular attraction.
Międzyzdroje, and health resort site Dziwnów offer not only 25 km of coastal beaches but also a remarkable national park and a popular golf course with 9 and 18 golf-pits.
Ustronie Morskie, a beautiful holiday site with a thermal pool supplied by seawater. Pogorzelica is a small holiday locality, surrounded by coniferous and mixed forests.
