Szczawnica

Szczawnica – is picturesquely located in The Pieniny Mountains, in the Valley of Grajcarek stream. The town is considered as one of the most beautiful health spa resorts in Poland.  Numerous tourist trails for walking. The greatest attraction is rafting through the stunning gorge of the fast- flowing river Dunajec admiring the most picturesque sights of the Pieniny Mountains.  

Accommodation: The camp Halka is located in the very center of Szczawnica, near the spa park. Nearby there is a chair-lift to Palenica. 2, 3 and 4 persons rooms with bathroom and TV. Camp facilities: stylish restaurant, table tennis, open-fire room, BBQ, car park.

Dining: Full Board (3 course menu) in the dining room of the boarding house. The program begins with supper on the arrival and ends with breakfast on departure day and includes extra provision for a full day excursion and travel.  

Transport: bus, all necessary transfers in Poland (ask for details).

The price includes: accommodation (11 overnights), dining, instructors and camp instructor help, health care, program, transport.

Recreational camp:
Age of participants: 10- 12 years old, 13- 15 years old, 16- 18 years old

General Program (for all kind of camps): During this camp you can participate in: Rafting trip down the river Dunajec, couch trip and sights: The Castle in Nidzica, the ruins of the Castle in Czorsztyn, exhibition pavilion PPN, the church in Dębno, Krościenko. Bicycle excursion in Slovakia and a visit in The Red Monastery (obligatory passport). Excursion to the mountains with a tourist guide: excursion to Sokolica, excursion to Three Crown, Krościenko, excursion to hostel Orlica, Szafranówka, Wysoki Wierch, Szafranowka, Durbaszka, Wysoka, The Gorge Homole. Chair-lift to Palenica with the panoramic view to Tatra Mountains, Beskid Sądecki and Szczawnica. Table tennis tournament.

Facultative Program (at extra cost):

Kraków - a stroll along The Old Town, a visit to Aquapark - the price 40 zł + 9 zł entrance fee. Zakopane - sightseeing- 20 zł, a cable car to Gubałówka- 8 zł for the ski-lift. A full day excursion to Prehyba- 20 zł, excursion to the swimming pool- 7 zł. Excursion to Slovakia- Stara Lubovna, Lubomirski Castle, scansion - a famous open air museum (obligatory passport)- 20 zł. 

Remarks:
The price of facultative excursions depends also on the number of participants.

Additional information:
All participants should take with the them suitable clothes and sport equipment:
- obligatory passport for those who want to go to Slovakia,
- cap, raincoat, jumper,
- sport shoes and sport clothes,
- swimming suite and swimming- cap,
- small rucksack,
- the examination from a doctor for those due to participate the sports camp.
