Carmel, Karina and I would like to thank you for your excellent service in arranging the bookings, hotel, tickets and the tours. Everything contributed to a very pleasant visit to Krakow. Many thanks especially for fixing the problem we had yesterday with the closure of the Wieliczka Salt Mine and the cancellation of the afternoon tour. Grzegorz:
I want to let you know that my cousin Bob and I had a fabulous trip to Poland. Our guides, Zygmant and Monika were outstanding. They provided insight into Polish history, made sure everything was seamless. We had a special treat in Czestochowa, with a private tour with a Sister Terese. All of the transportation was outstanding, meals out of this world (we learned to eat soup with every meal, YUM). Our accommodations were good. No complaints. Every city was exciting and unique and the guides we had in the city were also outstanding. Very knowledgeable. We were exhausted every night yet eager to begin again. It was a truly memorable trip and we hope to return again. Exciting Poland is an outstanding company and i will definitely use you again. We never had to worry about anything for two weeks. Every detail was attended to. I am recommending you to people who wish to visit Poland.
I do have a few recommendations. Our accommodations was great. One comment was to locate these hotels closer to town if possible. In Gdnask and Wroclaw, we were located away from the city. We at early dinners, so when we returned to the hotel it was challenging to find some place to relax and have a beer. In Gdansk, we did find a local shopping area so not too big of a deal. Wroclaw, we were able to pick up a few items before we left the city center. For those less adventurous, it can be difficult. In the other cities, we enjoyed walking into the city center and have an ice cream or beer and walk people. Polish cities are wonderful so we enjoyed being part of them. In Lodz, our hotel was on the edge of a questionable area yet we still went out to the Manufaktura in the evening. The museum of musical instruments in :Poznan could have been deleted in favor of a few hours to shop. that day was rushed.
Putting all this in perspective, we choose a jam packed trip so we are not complaining. Next time most time to relax and shop!

Just wanted to thank you for setting up our tour of Northern Poland. It was very interesting and we really enjoyed it. Our guide Zygmunt was great and we had lots of fun. The weather cooperated for most of the tour which was a real bonus. The local tour guides were very well informed and interesting and the fabulous dinners we had with Zygmunt were the highlight at the end of each day. Thanks again.

Poland was wonderful. Our tour was excellent - every stop, every Church, every restraunt! Jacob was terrific. My pilgrims had only great things to say. The locations you selected for Mass were very meaningful and beautiful. I learned so much and have a great appreciation for Poland and Polish history.

Our trip back to Germany was uneventful, which is great.
We really can not say enough good things about our trip. You did a great job with hotels - very clean and safe and good food. Jacob was essential. We loved his information, his knowledge, his helpfulness and his translating.

What a wonderful trip we had. Everything was perfect and everybody had a great time. Nobody even got a blister on their foot this year! Thank you for all of your help and recommendations. The private bus was definately the way to travel and our Ukrainian driver who took us over the Hungarian border was especially nice to travel with. Igor, our English-speaking guide was terrific and we would be happy to work with him again in the future. Also looking forward to buying his book about L'viv. The Hotel Natalia continues to be a charming and comfortable hotel and it was nice to remember some familiar faces from last year.
Hungary is a lovely country. Budapest is the prettiest city I've ever seen. Eger was wonderful, the fortress is unbelievably beautiful and interesting and Ida, our guide was charming, energetic, friendly, and very proud of her city. If I had to complain about anything, it was our first night at the Hotel Flora, there was a very loud wedding party until 4 am, about which I complained at 3:30 am. We were placed in 4 rooms right outside the banquet hall and my point was that these rooms should have been given to the wedding guests, not us. Anyway, when we returned to our rooms later in the day, all four rooms had a lovely assortment of fruit and a large bottle of water which was very nice and more than made peace. We appreciated the gesture. You had told us that Eger is described as "little Krakow", and we can understand why. I've got to say that Krakow stays special in our hearts and Chris and I both want to travel there again some day.
Budapest was fantastic and the full day trip you arranged to the Danube Bend was great. How beautiful. The meal and folk show one night was fun and delicious. We have pictures of Chris dancing on stage with a folk dancer.! Everyone loved the boat trip to Vienna, great experience. We loved Hotel Kartnerhoff in Vienna. It was small, the rooms are charming, the staff is very helpful and friendly. We were greeted and helped by John before we even stepped inside. The morning we left, we were scheduled to leave before breakfast started at 7am, so they opened especially for us at 6am. That was above and beyond expectations. It is also centrally located and easy for tourist to see some of the gorgeous old architecture.
I almost forgot to tell you that our stay at Hotel Uzgorod was also excellent. It's a beautiful hotel, the rooms are very nice. We had the best breakfasts here and there was a piano player playing classical music every morning.
The trip was more than we expected and we appreciate all of your efforts on our behalf. We hope to travel in this part of the world in the future, although not next year as our daughter comes home to Chicago in October. She will always have friends in Ukraine, and when we are ready to visit again, we will certainly be in touch with you. Thank you again Grzegorz, all the best to you.

We had a wonderful time. Our guide, Grzegorz, was terrific as was our driver Josef. We also thought all the individual guides in the various cities were very well-prepared and informative. Our accomodations were all quite good. We particularly liked the Hotel Polski in Krakow. Our train tickets were exactly right, even though the train trip was quite slow. (That's not your fault, however!) We never had to wait for any of the planned programs. The bus seats were a little cramped for some of our members. We would have liked a little more leg room. All in all, it was very well planned and was a fantastic trip!
